CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A student at a Charlotte charter school has been shot in the shoulder, but is expected to survive.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said officers arrested a suspect not long after Wednesday's shooting, which took place in the parking lot of Crossroads Charter High School around 10 a.m. Police are also looking for two more suspects.
The school's principal tells WCNC-TV the shooting happened as students were being dismissed for the day due to testing. They were brought back inside after the shooting.
